Good Morning all my Cali Friends

Wow can you believe that it is only 2 days before Christmas? Oh yeah and good morning to all of you!

I still have a butt load of things to do and I do not know how I am going to accomplish them. I do this all the time...wait to the last minute,but at least for the first time I have a tree up and decorated...that is way good for me. My dil said yesterday that it is the most she has seen me decorate in years. See what grandkids do for ya?

Yesterday I had this super neat day as my Secret Santa Rhonda came down with tons of gifts for me....she really did spoil me. Not that gifts were not great...especially the super great scarves she hand knitted for me, but more gave me the opportunity to spend some time with her and her really great family.

Rhonda's kids are truly amazing and she informed that her daughter Lexie is going to marry Hunter. I am just loving it! I have to tell you, Rhonda has some of the best behaved kids I have ever met. Anyone knows who has been in my house knows that I have not so much of a kid friendly house....I mean I do not put things up for kids. I never had to worry the whole time they were here. They know the meaning of "no" and it only has to be said once. They have outstanding manners too. It was just a real pleasure.

LuLu...how are you holding up and it is so good to hear that your sister keeps improving each day. I am so happy for you and her!

Steve....you nailed it, but I am having problems with the iPhone...needs to be taken back....but what I can use with it...OMG I am like already worn the battery down yesterday with me and Hunter watching UTUBE video's. He was laughing his ass off!

Jean where are you...MIA at the MAC counter???? Or where you babysitting yesterday? Check in GF!

Joy I am glad you are getting better each day. I do hope that you and Michelle get to meet each other....she is a real sweetie!

Lisa I think I am going to try that recipe. YOu know I bought this Splenda sugar blend stuff...real low in sugar 2 grams and it has more the texture of sugar than the splenda....does not give that icky taste either....so I am going to try your recipe.

Ah That Kim Girl....Lexie is going to marry my Hunter...so I will get to be her neenie in law LOL

Monica....cleaning and organizing...YUCK I hate that kind of stuff even though I should be doing some organizing of my own in this workspace of mine. Somehow it never gets done! LOL Hope you are going to relax today!

Liz...I am so happy to read that your son is got engaged and what a cool way he did it!!! OMG I would have been all teary eyed. I love hearing all about how my son got engaged in SF...it was cool so I know you were feeling it for sure! You are going to be so proud and loving the mother of the groom roll because it is so much eaiser than mother of the bride! Have they set a wedding date yet?

What an Awesome shout out!  We had so much fun at your house yesterday!  My husband wants to move in, ride Harley's, drink coke, eat fudge and paint!  lol.  He had such a wonderful time.  Kids too!  I have a bunch of errands to do today so I will be in and out and all about today.  Then in the afternoon I am going to take some me time and get in a little nap.  Then more cookie baking for Christmas, as my husband keeps eating everything almost as fast as I can bake it.  Everyone have a blessed day and be good to you today.

Good morning Janine and Cali friends,

Yesterday was a crazy day....I had to work, then on my lunch hour I went and had an ultrasound down on my armpit.  She was able to find a couple more lumps, but wouldn't say what she thought is was.  She said that my doctor should have the report later this week or early next week, and since I'll be out of town next week I'll have to call my doctor to see if they could tell me about the report over the phone.  Please keep me in your Prayers!!!

Then after work I met up with Cate who I was the Secert Santa for....she is a really nice lady.  I sure hope we stay in touch.  I had so much to do after work, but I wanted to met her and I tought we would only be at starbucks for just a few mintues, but it turned out we were there for an hour and boy did that hour go by so fast.  CATE...IF YOU READ THIS YOU ARE A SWEETIE!!!!  I LOOK FORWARD GETTING TOGETHER WITH YOU AGAIN!!

I took the grandbabies to see Santa...my granddaughter loves to do the Santa dance, but she wanted nothing to do with him when we seen him...then went to Victoria Gardens and got home around 11:30...and back to work this morning...

Hopfuly today will be a little less crazy.

Here I am -

And no Janine I was not at the MAC counter (I actually ordered online and it was delivered  yesterday lol).  Yesterday I spent the day wrapping gifts and finishing up christmas stuff.  Then took a little unplanned nap in my recliner in the afternoon....

No baby sitting for a couple of weeks as mom is a teacher so they don't need me til school starts again...

Today I take my oldest sister to the airport - she is going to Arizona to be with her kids and grandkids for Christmas.  Its going to be so weird this year because my sisters and i and their families have spent every Christmas eve together forever....this will be the first year in my life that we have not all been together.  But my sisters middle son and his family bought a house in AZ and of course want to spend the holidays in their new home - plus can't afford to fly the whole family out to SOcal for christmas.  So all of her family is going to AZ.  but things change as kids grow up and start their own families...just seems so weird to me.

ANyhow - thanks again Janine for the awesome shout out...you are the bomb at that for sure.  Also glad that you and Rhonda had a good time yesterday.  I just love that Lexie - she is the sweetest thing ever isn't she? 

Ok well time to go get a cup of coffee.  I actually slept until almost 6 this morning (of course I was awake from about 2-3) so I am behind my schedule this morning....or should I say my normal routine.

I was just thinking this morning, I cannot believe Christmas is two days away.  I still have one last present to get and than I am done.  I also only have one more day of work.  Yippeee.  Unfortunately for me I have the entire month of billing to do before I leave tomorrow.  Why do I do this to myself? 
I am up entirely to early this morning, but I have 6 clients to see today.  I am not looking forward to the next two day, however I know that after tomorrow, I am free.  Well for 18 days at least.  I am excited about Christmas, but even more excited to take my lil man to the snow next Monday.  He is just going to love it.

Good Morning Everyone!  Thanks for the shout-out!  I've got a busy day ahead of me.  First - work.  Then Jayden and I go to the fabric store and I have to buy enough for 2 more blankets.  Then, sew them and cut their edges and get ready to knot.  I can knot in the car on the way to Oroville, but the sewing I have to do tonight.  As well as make stuffing. 

We made another batch of sausage last night.  This time we made some links.  Now, that was fun - a lot of work, but fun!  I was wiped out last night so I sat and watched for a great part of it.  Then, I helped twist and cut links.  Hubby was picking on me because I didn't help much and I finally looked at him and said "my level of participation directly correleates to the amount I can consume".  All 3 of the adults looked at me and started laughing! 

If I was smart, I'd see about taking 1/2 day off, but since both bosses are away, that can't happen.  So.......... I'll just micro plan my day out.  The sewing shouldn't take more than an hour and a half.   And, I can get Jayden to help. He's such a good boy.

 

Good Morning.........

Today is going to be BUSY!! Hair appointment for both DD and I. She is going to get her hair washed because she has two more weeks before she can shower. I bet she is will feel tons better, there is nothing like a great hair washing when you don't feel good. I know she will started feeling better about life. I hope.

After that, we have a first following up apointment. Oh Joy!!! Its going to be a very long day for her, and I know she will sleep for like a year when we get home. But there is a chiweenie puppy that she wants to go and see from freecycle. I don't think that will happen today. Nope, I think she will need to wait until tomorrow for that outting.

By the time we get home, I will need to sleep also. Fresser woke me up early because HER blatter woke her up, and she is to chicken to get off the bed, for the boggie man under the bed, or something. (she can't get back up) So WE got up early to empty HER blatter, then cause she was up, her tummy needed fixing, so she sat in front of her empty bowl. Kids!!! Any one want a spoiled pop bellie black angues pig? Then find your own. LOL.

OK time to get moving and get me self and DD ready and get moving. Since I am down town, I am going to go to this great little shop for lunch and get me some to die for soup. I want some for dinner tonight and lunch today and tomorrow. Rhonda, knows where I am talking about. She drove an hour down the hill, stopped there and picked up two kinds of their "to die for" soup, and brought it to me, one day when DD was having surgery, Again. (OMG!! she drove down the hill just for me. OMG!!!) What a great friend. Thank you!
